Outlands, with its notes of lemon, patchouli, and amber, paints a vast, uncharted landscape.

A deep, lingering resinous spice anchors the fragrance, its slightly spicy top note, tinged with frankincense and mint, like a whirlwind of pink, dry sand.

The heart recalls the medicinal woody and leathery notes of the Intermezzo and Prelude compositions. Dry woods with a subtle floral sweetness, combined with vanilla leather infused with birch and agarwood, gradually deepen the composition.

Oud is often expressed as a resin-wrapped bitterness and restrained animalic quality, and this composition is no exception.

The composition ultimately settles on a grand vanilla resin note, a Rachmaninoff-esque chord cadence, culminating in a series of bittersweet resins, including benzoin, labdanum, and myrrh. Like a golden radiance filling the sky, it illuminates the dense clouds and cold desert beyond.
