First Impression: From the name to the bottle design, I expected this to be a dark-themed fragrance, but the initial impression was surprisingly sweet!

Overall Impression: This is a fragrance with a significant difference between its top and base notes. The top note is very sweet, a blend of coconut and floral-fruity notes, which seems a bit cheap and synthetic, which was unexpected and somewhat disappointing. The layered, woody notes in the middle and base notes are what I originally expected—the scent of a dangerous witch in a dark forest. From a whimsical fairytale to a dark forest, this fragrance perhaps portrays the transformation of a sweet girl into a dangerous villain, seduced step by step from alluring sweetness to ultimately becoming an accomplice, embracing the villain’s embrace. The rum note, which I had most anticipated, is rather subtle, almost contrived, and doesn’t have the captivating effect of the rum in MMM’s Jazz Club.

Scent Longevity: The scent lasts well, about 7 hours, with good layering and a sophisticated base note. If the top note surprises you, give it a chance; there might be a pleasant surprise!
