This fragrance draws inspiration from Easter and Halloween, both standard holidays, but the opening scent is surprisingly full of Chinese influences. The aroma of Palo Santo is palo santo, which you can fully appreciate without waiting for the drydown. Compared to the cool, holy Palo Santo in TDC, it’s drier and warmer, with a somewhat solemn incense-like quality. Plum fruit and cistus cream also permeate the front and middle notes with a sweetness that differs only in the lively former and the denser latter.

The longevity is 6-8 hours. I admit I was drawn to it by the name, but another factor, inevitably, is the attractive price tag. It’s like a kitten left alone after being chosen, and I happened to see its forlorn expression.

Speaking of the aroma, the name “Voice of the Saints” predisposed me to think of the thick, towering incense used during mass. But upon closer inspection, I discovered that wasn’t the case.
