Overall feeling: low-key fabric, undercurrent of poetry
When I first smelled this perfume, it was not a stunning beauty. The top notes of citrus and bergamot are as clear and short as morning dew, even with a hint of restrained sourness, like a wide-brimmed hat half-covered by a veil, reserved and almost alienated. But after waiting patiently for half an hour, its soul really awakened – the elegance of lily emerged from the moisture of the sea water, and the sweetness of ylang-ylang was polished by the soapy feeling of orange blossom oil to be bright and translucent, as if moonlight penetrated the mist and sprinkled on silk. The warm sweetness of vanilla is like cashmere lining wrapped around the cold petals of lily, and musk and vetiver weave a layer of skin-like gauze in the base notes, making this gentleness both intellectual and lingering.
It perfectly interprets the essence of the Haute Couture Collection – “spreading fragrance like wearing clothes”. If the “Red Velvet” in the same series is the queen who kills everyone, the “hat” is the lady holding a book in the study, with her sharpness hidden between her lowered eyes.
