I wasn’t originally a fan of almond-themed fragrances, but this bitter apricot scent made me buy the full-size version straight away. Most almond-themed fragrances are inseparable from the burnt-sweet, dry aroma of almond, but remember, it can make anything ordinary feel refined and delicate. The gourmand-like scent structure doesn’t make this almond scent overly sweet. Instead, it offers a gentle, clean milky aroma with a hint of dry, bitter roasted almond. Thankfully, the almond doesn’t dominate the nose. It lingers within the classic iris accord, and the unique soapy feel of the iris family creates a clean and refined finish.
